Child development professionals acknowledge that residential camping helps children to mature socially, emotionally, intellectually, morally, and physically. Children benefit deeply from a "once in a lifetime" residential camp experience, which provides lasting memories throughout the child’s life, but as importantly, helps to improve both self esteem and create a sense of belonging.
