The Village's RFK's Camp is designed to give foster children a week of positive memories in a Christian environment. We work with Royal Family Kids' Camp who are the nation's leading network of camps for abused, neglected and abandoned children. Child development professionals acknowledge that residential camping helps children to mature socially, emotionally, intellectually, morally, and physically. Children benefit deeply from a "once in a lifetime" residential camp experience, which provides lasting memories throughout the child’s life, but as importantly, helps to improve both self esteem and create a sense of belonging.
